Lakeside Baptist Church ("LBC") maintains this Website ("lakesidebaptist.com") and all sub domains as a service to its members and visitors. The Privacy Policy set forth below governs your use of this website, and by using the website you agree to be bound by them. Therefore, please read the Privacy Policy carefully before you use this website. If you do not agree with our Privacy Policy, please do not use this website.

Notification of Changes to this Policy
LBC is continually improving and adding new functionality and features to this Website and improving and adding to its existing services and programs. Because of these ongoing changes, our policies will change. If and when these changes occur, LBC will post the changes on this Website to notify you of the changes.

In addition to the information you provide when using the Website, LBC uses technology to collect anonymous information about the use of our Website. LBC incorporates technology to track visitor counts to our Website, the date and time of their visit, the length of the visit, and which pages they view. Additionally, LBC uses this information to help improve content and functionality of our Website, to better understand the needs and interests of our site visitors and to improve our service offerings.

The only exception includes limited circumstances in which LBC should be forced to comply with legal requirement, for the administration of justice, to protect your vital interests, to protect the security or integrity of our databases or this Web site, and to take precautions against legal liability.

External Use of Site Images

LBC strictly prohibits the use of or linking to of images appearing on our Website without the expressed written consent of LBC and the LBC Webminstry team. If external usage of site graphic(s) is identified, the appropriate parties will be notified and asked to remove the graphic(s). If at which time, the graphic(s) are not removed within 30 days, legal assistance will be contacted.

Online Surveys, Feedback and Team Contact including Spiritual Gifts Inventory

LBC values user interactive when dealing with Christian surveys. The LBC Spiritual Gifts Inventory collected personal information so results can be recorded in our internal database system. This information is not share with outside sources.  Non-member can and are encouraged to participate in our online surveys; however, you are still required to provide the required information even though your results will not stored. Spiritual Gifts Inventory results will be saved internally for an indefinite period of time. If at anytime, you wish to have your results removed, contact the Christian Education Office.

Feedback provided through the LBC Contact link requires a First and Last Name and Email address. This information is used for the sole purpose of supporting your question. Your information will be shared internally with the appropriate parties. We do not support anonymous feedback.

Contact me links provided on the Team page provide a direct email link to the party chosen. First and Last Name, Email and your comments will be submitted to the party selected for his/her usage solely in the purpose of answering your question. We do not support anonymous direct contacting.

Prayer request submitted through the Prayer page unless noted in the prayer may be included in church wide prayer publications, such as the Wednesday Night Messenger. If you wish at any time to have your information removed, please contact the church office.

Cookies

In order to collect the anonymous data described in Anonymous Data Collected and for the purpose of delivering relevant contact the site, LBC may use temporary "cookies. Cookies by themselves cannot be used to discover the identity of the user. A cookie is a small piece of information which is sent to your browser and stored on your computer's hard drive. At the present time, LBC only utilizes session cookies. These cookies expire when the browser window is closed.  Any user may block or delete LBC cookies from his or her hard drive at any time. Communication and Subscriptions

Depending on your role as a Website user, your may receive emails designed to help the growth of this ministry, sometimes by providing information on product updates or requesting user feedback. Additionally, you may choose to subscribe to daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly email publications through our online subscription system. By subscribing, you are allowing LBC to contact you via email for the sole purpose of delivering the content requested on the subscription distribution schedule. If you wish to have your name removed from our email lists, visit the subscription page and choose unsubscribe or contact the Webmaster through the Teams pages or through any Contact mail form. In rare instances, the online unsubscribe method may not remove you properly; and therefore, you would need to contact the church office to be removed. Please allow 48 hours for your subscription to be disabled.

LBC also uses third-party sites Facebook.com and Twitter.com ("Third Party") to deliver current news content. Subscriptions to these services are in no way related to LBC. When using Third Party sites, you should be aware of their TOS and Privacy Policies.

Feature Notice

Members feature and iVisitation provide a method for accessing secure information on your personal computer. Access via an authorized username and password are required to authenticate this service. Members and church Sunday school attends are offered these memberships free of charge. iVisitation requires additional permission by the Christian Education Office. Information contained within is should be held in confidence and used only in church-related manors. Improper use will result in termination of your account without question.

Children

LBC does not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under thirteen, please do not give LBC any personal data. If you have reason to believe that a child has provided personal data to LBC, please contact us.

Governing Law

This privacy policy forms part of our Web site Terms and Conditions and as such shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama.
