Preschoolers and children are very important to us at Lakeside. We are always continuing to improve all of our programs to better teach and meet the needs of our preschoolers and children. Through Sunday School, missions, choirs, outreach and more; we want to share the Word of Jesus Christ to these 'youngsters' who are eager to learn!

Bible Study
Our Bible study classes are for ages birth through fifth grade. Preschoolers through kindergarten completed remain in their classes through Sunday morning worship, at the discretion of the parents, and receive a light snack during the transition times. During the 8:00 AM worship service, we offer preschool classes for birth through kindergarten. Our curriculum is developmentally based, and preschoolers and children are grouped according to their age and development. We believe learning is a dynamic process that begins at birth and continues through adulthood. We are striving to teach Bible truths in a way that lays a foundation for faith in Jesus Christ and makes God relevant in our day-to-day lives. Learning Biblical truths at any early age provides stable foundations in life.

Missions
Our mission organizations consist of North American and International Mission studies for ages three years through fifth grade. Our preschool Mission Friends classes are coed and developmentally based. Our organizations for grades first through fifth are divided with girls meeting together in GA's (Girls in Action). and boys meeting together in RA's (Royal Ambassadors). We invite you to come and learn how we can all be missionaries everyday in our own community. These studies are designed to enlighten childen on how they can grow up sharing the Word of Jesus with their friends and piers. Not only do they develop a stronger following of Jesus, but GA's and RA's affords them an opportunity to interact with other Christian children their age.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. Matthew 28:19-20
Ignite Radical Preteen Ministry
 God has given preteens spiritual gifts to use in His kingdom. 2 Timothy 1:6 compares these gifts to a glowing coal or an ember, and we need to fan it into a flame and let it Ignite. Ignite, a Children Ministry for this age group, is designed to feed these spiritual gifts and help them to burn bright for Jesus Christ. Each Sunday night at 6:00 pm, there will be games, snacks, and Bible Study, but a majority of the time will be spent in helping preteens use their spiritual gifts through puppets, drama, sharing personal testimony, even running computer and audio-visual equipment. Our preteens will use these skills to help various ministries in the church as well as doing Backyard Bible Club Summer of 2008. Come be a part of this exciting ministry.
TeamKID (Kids in Discipleship)
Children in first through fifth grade are involved in our TeamKID (Kids In Discipleship) program on Sunday afternoons. This is a fun learning time which incorporates a lot of interactive activities along with games and refreshments that support the Bible thought and theme for the night. Summed Up: TeamKID is a fun, high-energy children's ministry that encourages children to develope and grow a relationship with Jesus Christ through Bible stories, scripture memory, life application and recreation; each aspect helping to teach them life lessons. Childrens Choirs
Preschool and children's choirs at Lakeside offer music education as well as opportunities to share music that the children have learned during worship throughout the year. Music is a vital part of worship and children can grow spiritually from such experiences. Through music, our children develop a better Biblical understanding, while meeting new friends and developing lifelong relationships.
