Upward Basketball

Upward Basketball is for grades 1st through 4th (Boys/Girls). You and your friends: Sign up individually, practice and play or cheer for a game once each week, get equal playing time every game, learn new drills to improve your basketball or cheerleading skills, recieve special recognition awards every game, and develop new friends. Upward promotes character and self-esteem in every child by providing:  A substitution system that promotes equal playing time for each player and an evaluation process to provide equal teams and equal opportunity for improvement.

Registration

Registration cost is $78. Please make checks payable to Briarwood Presbyterian Church. Each player must attend an evaluation. These will take place at Briarwood Presbyterian Church and Metro Church of God as follows:
 
1st and 2nd Grade Boys and Girls
Monday, November 7, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm

3rd and 4th Grade Boys and Girls
Tuesday, November 8, between 6:00pm and 8:00pm

Resources

League Schedule
Practice begins the week of Monday, December 5, 2011. The first game will be Saturday, January 7, 2012. The Awards Celebration will be Monday, February 20, 2012.

Downloadable Forms
Both forms must be completed and returned by mail or in person with the registration fee to either Briarwood Presbyterian Church or Lakeside Baptist Church.
