Missions is a key part of Lakeside Baptist Church. Our mission philosophy is to
equip people with the tools they need to lead others into a growing relationship
with Jesus Christ. We want to create a church environment where one can develop
an intimate relationship with God and learn ways to better communicate His message
to our local community and around the global. We not only support local missions
in Birmingham and the surrounding area, but also, participate globally in Guatemala,
Brazil, and Eastern Europe. Become involved: share Christ with those you come in
contact with on a daily basis.
Global Missions
Regional and Global mission teams reach out to individuals in the US and internationally,
ministering spiritually and emotionally; through construction and medial outreach.
Our global mission teams visit Guatemala and Brazil on a regular basis; leading
worship, strengthening communities, constructing churches, and sharing Christ. If
you are interested in participating in one of our global teams, contact Gizele Glaze
in the Pastor's Office.

Regional Missions
Regional mission teams volunteer with Habitat for Humanity, as well as, participate
in Carpenters for Christ and World Changers. Our Vermont mission team reaches out
teaching Backyard Bible Clubs and Vacation Bible School. Please pray for these groups
as they share Christ. If you are interested in participating, contact Martha Evans
or Sarah Akins in our church offices.
Local Missions
Local missions are key at Lakeside. Volunteers frequently participate in day long
