 Mission Friends provide missions learning to help preschoolers move from a self-centered focus to a focus on others, to become aware that not everyone knows God's love and to understand ways they can help others know about God's love. If you have children in these age groups, we invite you to have them become active in this exciting adventure!
Preschooler's involved in Mission Friends experience the joy of missions as they learn about missionaries, give to missions, pray for missions, and DO missions. By teaching mission attitudes and concepts to preschoolers, they become aware of God;s love and they learn that others need to hear about this good news. How do they learn? Mission work is emphased through hands on activities, sensory activities, Bible thoughts, mission stories, cultural activites, and most importantly Prayer!
Mission Friends is a mission organization of Women's Missionary Union. The primary objective of Mission Friends is to teach missions attitudes and concepts to all preschoolers. Mission Friends at Lakeside is for two and three year olds (Middle Mission Friends) and four and five year olds (Older Mission Friends).
