New Life Singers
Coming next month, our New Life Singers choir will begin rehearsal again. The New Life Singers is our choir made up of individuals ages 50 and over. The musical diet of this choir is Southern Gospel. We rehearse on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00-5:00pm in the chapel. Rehearsal begins Wednesday, September 8.

The next FasTrack is scheduled for September 10, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00pm.
Senior Adult Luncheon
Join us for the Senior Adult Luncheon on September 14th in the Fellowship Hall. The luncheon will feature Lakeside's own Mickey Ferguson. For more information, contact Wanda at 822-1240.
Senior Adults Mystery Trip
The local Mystery Trip, September 23, planned by Joel and Sammie is intriguing to say the least. It will include a rare first-time experience for some and will take others back in memory to their childhood. Sign up now.
Secret Pals Tea
The Secret Pals Tea will be held September 24 at 2:00pm in the Fellowship Hall.
Its time for Music and Missions
This month we kick off Music and Missions for our childhood ministry. This program is designed to grow our children as worshipers. This year the choir will present "Back to the Manager", Sunday December 5 at 6:00pm.
Student Outreach Cookout
On Thursday, October 7 at 5:00pm, we will have our annual Youth Outreach Cookout at Oak Mountain Middle School. We will be giving out hotdogs and hamburgers to the community before the Oak Mountain vs. Hewitt game.
New Life Singers
It’s time to kick off another year of the New Life Singers; Rehearsals are Wednesdays from 4:00-5:00pm. This is our senior adult choir and is open to all who love to sing Southern gospel music. We will be preparing for a choir festival held in Montgomery in October, as well as opportunities to sing around the city and across the state.

Come Grow With Us
Join us for outreach during GROW visitation Monday nights. Interested participates should meet at the church at 6:00pm to browse assignments and being visiting. Help us share the love of Christ with those in our community.
Harvest Celebration
This is an awesome fellowship event. Invite your family, friends and those in your community to join us October 27, 2010 for the annual Harvest Celebration. This is a night full of games, activities, prizes and candy. Come out and enjoy the huge inflatables. A great is always had by all, so don’t miss this year’s celebration.
